When you click on someone's nick inside the game you get to this page, example:

What does the field "Victories" represent?(in the picture it's "Vitórias: 33 231)
I am sure I haven't finished 33000 races, let's not even mention actual victories lol

It's the same than in previous games. Thisthis thread @ Trackmania forums summarises the win-draw-loss thing well enough. There's only wins shown in the profile in TM2 though.

I copied the message here as this is a quite good explanation:

It's simple.

Win = You beat a player
Draw = You had the same result as a player
Loss = You lost to a player.

So if you beat 17 players and you lost to 2, on a 20 player server, you get +17 wins and +2 losses.

And if you have same time (or don't finish the track like others) that = a draw.
