Render Time

Post by Heku »

Hello everyone..
im wondering when shooting a video of a replay, how long does it take for you guys to render a track, let's say a 30sec map or something (you can say the length of track and render time)..
i don't know if it's problem in my end, or is it just really slow to render (shoot a video from a replay) in trackmania 2..
for me: Frame 232/1513 , Elapsed Time 22:46 (22min)
is this slow (for a 22sec map)? my computer is pretty powerful and new, so that shouldn't be the problem... anything to say?
7sec/1frame
btw, im using DivX codec

e: fuuk, i just rendered for 2 fckng hours and the result is 10 clips from where none work... wtf?

Either your PC is bad or you activated the additional reflection options or multiple times of blur.

Hints for quicker rendering time:
- Do not enable additional car reflections
- Do not use depth blur antialiasing
- Resolution matters! Choose 720p over 1080p
- Don't put antialiasing too high

49x is ridiculously high, especially when you aim for low rendering times. 9x is completely fine
