What is the estimate calculation time for 'high quality' shadows ? Just some average, to know what can I expect.

Well, try it out. For my large maps, calculating high quality took 2-3 times as long as default !

I know that it is 2-4 times longer, yet, I hoped someone can offer me estimate in hours, for an average map. I just like to do everything top notch, yet I am unsure, whether it is possible for me to do so, time-wise.

It's a matter of minutes. In TM, which uses the same engine, a highly detailed map takes no more than 5 minutes for normal quality shadows,.so I'd put high quality to 15 mins at the very most.
