I'm running a i5, gtx670, and 16gb of ram and i just barely get 60 fps on 16 person servers with everything on low. This game needs some kind of optimization.

Yeah my computer is very meh. I get 42ish FPS on normal maps and 30ish on maps with lots of trees and such. I'd like some super uber low graphics option so I could get it really smooth.

I can't believe that, tbh. I'm on an i7 with a GTX570 and 8 gigs of ram. With low settings I get 145 fps easily on full servers (maybe more, I'd have to check that with higher max fps settings) and on high settings the game ran just fine as well.

Optimization is always good, though.. I'd love to be able to play SM on my Notebook with decent FPSs, too... :)

Yea i cant blame you for thinking that, but take a look, i just jumped in a game with 16/20 players and here is a screen.

If you are having trouble reading it, i am using 46% of my GPU, and just 31% of my cpu, i have some programs running in the background so its actually using much less. Its not unplayable, but its annoying. Most all my clanmates are also having the same problem with all sorts of hardware.

That's indeed kinda weird. I just hopped on a server with around the same player amount as you did..
With not much happening on the screen I got ~160 fps: Image

Can you post your settings here? For science :3
Those are mine..

Oh, and I'm running the game in 1600*900..

Yea its really odd, i play BF3 on completely max settings 1080p and get 55-65 fps.

We are in beta and will look at optimization all along the way. To help in beta, please report here:

I'd like to jump on the 'fine' wagon here. I have an i3, one graphics card (a 4950) and 8gb of 1600MHz ram (on a really fast motherboard, but I'm not sure how much that helps - I'm upgrading my computer piece by piece as I get the money) and I get around 80fps on a 16 person server, dropping to around 50 on a 60 person shooter. I'm not exactly sure of the problem, but judging by the stats maybe it's more of a compatibility error with specific hardware?
