Nadeo is a small team, then I trust in them. TrackMania is the only game where my questions about the game are resolved (ShootMania added).

CPU: Ryzen 7 2600; Video: GeForce 1070; RAM: 16GB; also known as The Lil' Electricity Bill Booster. In-game as <MATKS95>

you obviously have no idea what I am talking aboutDemented wrote:RE: wiidesire-2 and Omnixor:
Sorry Dudes, but I of course disagree on most accounts.
Nadeo does not disappoint me.
They didn't lie. They ran into unforeseen issues.
How could they know in the beginning that they would run into problems and set backs? If they could see the future, don't you think there would be less backlash?
I will continue to buy Nadeo titles.
I think TM2 is bigger and better and still growing.
All constructive feedback is good for growth though.
before the release of Trackmania 2 Canyon I collected every single information that was given from Nadeo Team to this game. I even bought magazines from international countries to translate them and get new informations . I thought they actually ment what they said but they didn't.
Quote MrBob:
Trackmania 2 will have more blocks -> well no it hasn't
Trackmania 2 will be Trackmania just better -> well the beautiful Singleplayer Timer wasn't mentioned there
and many more quotes from that, just check my collection thread ( wasn't updated anymore) and you will find so many interviews, which are just fullfilled with lies and lies
the "lie" about their release schedule plan is just one of many lies of this company

Sure I do, and I understand where you are coming from and why you are frustrated.wiidesire-2 wrote:you obviously have no idea what I am talking about
The original TM had blocks added to it over time (Nearly ten years now). They weren't all there from the beginning. TM2, in time I think, will have way more blocks once the block import feature is in place and other updates occur. The key word there is "will" have more.wiidesire-2 wrote:Trackmania 2 will have more blocks -> well no it hasn't
This is the statement I have trouble with:
How can you call a plan a lie. It's not a promise it's a plan. If you tell someone you will meet them somewhere at a certain time but then get a flat tire on the way and end up late does that mean you lied to them? I think not. We all plan things and sometimes unforeseen circumstances change those plans.wiidesire-2 wrote:the "lie" about their release schedule plan is just one of many lies of this company
By the way don't feel like I'm hacking on you, I'm not, but I don't think people need to keep hacking on Nadeo because they don't have the patients to wait for the final product.

Hylis said one year ago, one environment on ManiaPlanet needs 5 more time than one environment on TMF.

Biggest textures (4048*4048), more parameters on the gameplay, work on the engine (it's a custom engine), work on the differences needs for a FPS and RPG...

No fail. Canyon is a wonderfull game. Maybe the community don't do his job. But what are YOU doing to make the game better. There are many ways. Demented, Jon and a lot of others are making Canyon better and they are happy with the game. But a few people just complain here. Would be better to do something and to be positive

Re: SM: Storm - planned release ... And what TM: Valley ?
no, they don't. nothing already can make Canyon better, only Nadeo, if they add some missing features/fix few bugs/etc.meuh21 wrote:Demented, Jon and a lot of others are making Canyon better

Trackmania was released in 2003. It is now 2012. That IS nearly 10 years now.Makc86 wrote:Feel the difference!
Canyon was released less than a year ago.
In a way, That's what TM2 is. It's a creation tool and game in one.Makc86 wrote:And if they so much want to involve community, let them produce high-grade SDK.

A Software Development Kit is usually used to create content for games. Maps, Levels, Skins etc...
That is what TM is about.
