Re: Canyon now on Steam...
I got an activation key with hardware I bought, who do I need to contact about getting a Steam key? The key I have does not work on Steam.
Re: Canyon now on Steam...
How? The wiki gives me this link http://support.ubisoft.com/ does that mean I need a Uplay account?Hylis wrote:Neox94 wrote:if you don't have your key, and if Wouter advice did not worked, I think it has to do through support (they may be busy today ^_^)

Yes you have to register a Uplay account to contact the Ubisoft support.

Damn thats why I hate games with multiple "platforms". Why can't it be just simple...Alinoa wrote:Yes you have to register a Uplay account to contact the Ubisoft support.

Re: Canyon now on Steam...
sad news for me
Will there be any comments about why you decided to switch to Steam? Earlier in several interviews you persistently denied this.
I think in the future, people have to be sure that they can trust what you say...

Please read the post of Hylis who talks about maniaplanet on Steam:
Hylis wrote:Pedal was right, I need to warn you, it is not what you think: we have no intention to release info on Valley tomorrow. I know you are waiting for it, like some people wait for half life 3 (I said some) but we are still working on it.
By the way, I need to say that I like Steam And that if we would ever go on Steam in a near or distant future, you would be able to switch from one platform to another, meaning that your key would be the key. I think it is based on the really positive way of doing things that Valve is displaying there or there.
and it is not a 'yes' by any mean

Re: Canyon now on Steam...
If i can't find that e-mail how can i get the code? Do i have to contact support?
Re: Canyon now on Steam...
I've successfully activated all my Maniaplanet apps on steam.
So, if you have maniaplanet installed already and decide to migrate to the steam version, how would that work?
Basically I want to keep using all my skins, maps, and replays afterwards.

Re: Canyon now on Steam...
U can basicly just edit the "Nadeo.ini" in the steamfolders of every single MP Game ("ManiaPlanet_TMCanyon" / "ManiaPlanet_TMStadium" and so on).Basically I want to keep using all my skins, maps, and replays afterwards.
^^ point these both lines to the folders u actually use in the maniaplanet installation (Nadeo.ini)UserDir={userdocs}\ManiaPlanet
CommonDir={commondata}\ManiaPlanet
U have todo that for every single steam installation (storm, canyon, stadium and all the next stuff nadeo will release ... )
I think this only need's tobe done if you set your multiplayer and personal data somewhere else when u installed Maniaplanet the first time. Not sure.
