I've just turned off AA completely. For me, FXAA are total waste of processing power, while MSAA is best solution (no big impact, yet big difference in graphics).

While "it's fine" (personally) to play without AA, it would be much nicer with.

I don't think TM 2 engine differs much from TMF engine, it is a same engine, but improved in critical parts. If anything, compared to TMF, TM2S push better frame rate with better graphics, and i think that was their final goal. Most of the performance boost come from moving away from CPU calculations, and changing GPU/CPU sync to 1 (at default) opposed to 0 (default in TMF). This is especially important for multi-core processors with lower "per core" performance, since TM engine don't use multithreading very well.

End result is, game is more suited for this time and future.

At "fast", and "very fast" shader settings MSAA is available.

I agree, AA is not working and should be addressed.

I would also like to turn off shadows and clouds, they only ruin visibility and drains computer power.

Well, technically on Nice and Very Nice shader quality AA works. But it looks like it doesn't. Especially on objects at medium and far distance. That's probably the way how FXAA performs.
On Very Fast and Fast shader quality there is no such problem, indeed. Old good MSAA works just fine.
I don't know the real reason standing behind this, but I really hope that developers would implement MSAA for Nice and Very Nice shader quality in near future. Because FXAA just ruins game's appearance on highest graphics settings.

Gswe81, regarding shadows and clouds, there is a separate topic -> http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 70&t=16997. I guess you can share your thoughts about it there. Because in this thread it's kinda off topic. ;)
