I think you've missed the point...but thanks for your input. I think the dev's "inverter block" was a good idea. Hopefully we see something like that - it would be quite fun.steeffeen wrote:well it takes about one minute to change the corresponding key bindings...newguy wrote:It's the same as driving forwards in terms of acceleration and speed, but the steering is inverted since you're driving backwards.

Re: Reverse
well i just tried to bring into your mind that if the players know that a certain track has to be driven backwards they would just change the key bindings ^.^newguy wrote:I think you've missed the point...but thanks for your input.
the inverter block would solve that problem of course!
even though i rather think that it would fit into mario kart than into trackmania, but that's just me.
//Edit: Mario Kart reference because of all the items that make it hard to drive

Re: Reverse
That's quite true, some people would change their key bindings
. I so innocently assumed that people would play along with it, but good point! Indeed the inverter block solves that. I don't really think of this as a Mario Kart style addition, it just adds another challenge to the track, which I think should always be welcomed in TM2.

Re: Reverse
I urge you to try the reverse tracks for Bay, some of those are really good! The Bay car has a unique sliding effect while driving in reverse.
