Don't play on words like this, as I was speaking generally, and thus, including the community. You know as well as me that the game wouldn't be the same without it. =)TheXPlaying wrote:I hope you guys care about the community as well!PapyChampy wrote:We care about the game![]()

Hey guys,
Let me explain you a few things about what is shootmania, and perhaps nadeo.
For that i'm gonna use some deep food metaphors :
As you all know, Nadeo and its games are quite different from the other online multiplayer games.
All those big productions COD, BattleField, CounterStrike, StarCraft and so on, are mostly like that :

Thousands and thousands of people makes them, working in assembly line, making their product quite resistant, clean, without any asperity, well let's say without any major visible default. Hmmm taste ok !
ShootMania is more like this :

As you can see on the picture, it's french yes, and it's technically made by a dozen of caring and passionnate hardworking people. Though on the surface the product may not seem as "Perfect", the main ingredients are there, and above all, it is what makes it unique, charming and real. Yes this his hand-made, or as we say here "Fait-maison".
In conclusion, well you said it, it takes a lot of time to read all the forum posts, but we really do take that time. We talk about those subjects and argue about it all together. I do agree with you on this jumping matter for example.
Yes here we care about our games, and the people playing it (even the more virulents
).
Understand on your hand that there are a tons of things to make, or repair, and with so little people, as productive as they can be, it will definitely take some time.
Many simple bugs aren't that simple to solve, and sometimes are related to much bigger things, that can turn simple issues into really complicated ones. Why would we keep easy-fixed bugs anyway ?
Hope this will help you understand some things, in the mean time i hope you all continue have some fun and thrilling games with shootmania, and also advise you to focus on the fun you're having, rather than on already reported little bugs.
French Baguette FTW
Cheers !

We are taloking about an important aspect of the gameplay, so please care about it.

He hasn't said that macros is a small bug, but even if it's seems easy to resolve, they are things that it can't be that simple to fix behind.mzhh wrote:Your post was funny but you really thinhk macros is simply a "small bug"?

I'm mostly suggesting here that you shouldn't waste your energy talking about reported issue. You report, we take in account. The only thing you can do is then to wait for the problem to be fixed. And because waiting can feel long and boring, better be playing and having fun in shootmania during that time

Re: Macros, macros everywhere.
how many times a bug is posted/doubleposted is a measurement for its importance in my eyes
This thread alone has 5pages. All other bugposts combinded dont even have 5pages :p so this means its important , i guess.
i encourage people to keep posting until its fixed in stead of waiting^^ , but im happy NADEO responded to this thread and im hoping for the best^^

Re: Macros, macros everywhere.
Consider that 30th of april we had...
All that and not a single word about it even being considered to be fixed or not. Take that into account Nadeos trackrecord of other things like alt button and mousepointer. Those things have just been made worse rather then fixed. There's no wonder this thread sounds the way it does.
People are frustrated of playing against players that might aswell have a sprint button for all the jump they don't do before they sprint.
Jump to sprint is a key mechanic in the game, as it is now, you could just put in a sprint key. After all, that would be consistent with the limit skillceiling and hardware demand, philosophy of the game.
then 7th of May..Cerovan wrote:Actually i don't completely understand what's the problem here. It doesn't make the players a lot better. A player can be able to microjump but he still has to aim correctly and to know where/when microjump or not ^_^.viperozza wrote:I'm just reporting that the game experience quality is near zero on instagib servers, with players microjumping everywhere and everytime. I know some guys are pro and are able to microjump perfectly without macroing hundreds of time in a row. But thats 1% of the actual shootmania playerbase.
But don't hesitate to tell me what bother you so much
10th of May GabrielM made his hamburger post. Then 2 more posts defending/explaining that post.PapyChampy wrote:As previously said in the thread, most of the forum is being read by the team.viperozza wrote:Apparently they don't care about this part of the game. Be also aware that if you do not see a reply, it's maybe that the Nadeo member that read the post may not be familiar with the exact problem at hands. However, it is usually reported to the right person.
Just be patient and wait for a proper reply of the devs.
We care about the game, and the goal is to make it better.
