Now the demo is out, what are its actual limitations? It's also interesting to know for support queries ;)

Demo players can only play on TrackMania 10 years servers, with A maps from the start and there are some 10K servers with some A and B maps.

Nothing more (no track editor, no nickname change etc)

It is a Demo.

If I played other demos for a long time like NFS:Underground or the old most wanted version, there I could play only 3-4 maps. I remember of a Demo, there was I timelimit of 15 minutes for each day, but I don't know which game it was^^

You , as NADEO team , could at least put a server controller on your servers.
So the free-riders can also have a little competition. ( like locals )

The servers look now like : Very empty :roflol: ( no they look like crap , cheap crap )

Hoop, You as NADEO team, do something about it and let the freebees see what the comunity has created in all those years.

btw Congratulations with 10 years TM , and go for at least 10 more. :3 :3 :3 :pil :pop: PARTY

Hopefully Many many more years of happy Trackmania :D

What I don't understand is why didn't Nadeo asked the community to host the servers? wouldn't it be easier, cheaper and better? I quite like having at least local records on servers.

Was exactly what I was thinking.. maybe charge us 20,000 planets for 20 slot freebie demo server. Most of us are paying a monthly fee to run near empty servers in any event... could have been a nice chance and shown the demo riders what the community is about..

They did not want the absolute newbies to directly get confronted with crazy blockmixing tracks

Nothing wrong with the Nadeo tracks.. we are talking about Records etc... without them it's like kissing your sister.
 :roflol:

On a serious note.. let's hope this bring more players to buy TM.
