Because a ladder is "people beating other ranked people"

In our situation, since the Europeans play more, they would climb more together and a NA players would suffer more ladder adjustments than it should be on it's territory.

To the extreme, if you have two separate planets in the galaxy, how can you rank them if they never play together.

In your function, you do not include the victory of the match as a parameter, and I believe it's a trouble, or players would rather look at optimize more their score than the game score. But it was maybe to strong in the current function, so wait and see the updated one. Thanks

Yes I discussed it a bit with FLEO <3
I clearly didnt take ALL ladders into consideration... Its starting to make sense to me know. Its just a little bit confusing at first sight.

"hey that player has better rank, lower score... but he loses less LP :o wooow unfair."
That was my first reaction. :D

Sometimes easy things dont look as easy^^ sorry.

Hmmm... If I play a match I will "notice" this change instantly? I dont think I can give you a lot of feedback tbh? It's not easy to notice I think.


What I did notice is that players lose the same LP. It does not feel like a calculation. Sometimes this also can be a little bit unfair. ( or give me the feeling that its unfair. )

"Player#1 -80.66LP" 10 rockets 0 attacks
"Player#2 -80.66LP" 8 rockets 0 attacks
"Player#3 -80.66LP" 11 rockets 0 attacks

it feels like 1 big calculation for the team & not a calculation per player.

it can not be made on one match. I was talking of the change of today, not the feeling.

but the change should be quite significant in the situation if you do a great score and still lose the match.

Personnaly i don't know why they didn't got any pts. And personnaly i don't understand why i'm loosing so much points you can't carry evry round.Ok for loosing some points but loose 126Lp with 17/10 :?
They played together 3ally and i played with 2 pick-up and 1rq. Btw this situation should be remove Ally 3v3 Ally 2v2 1pick up per team. Here 3 ally vs 3 pick up :/

Some good issues to address! Good post xenom.

Getting 0LP for 2attacks vs top player EU? Not understandable.
Also losing the most is really weird. Especially since Dovakh1n played so bad. He should have lost more LP.

It seems better! :thumbsup:

When you play good, but you lose the match you will be "punished" less. You will lose less LP. This feels so much better. :thumbsup:

I even won LP when I lost a match. Is this intended? ( It felt good btw , cuz I had 2-15 ... so I played good. )

I see ppl losing vs me with good score less lp than other. But apparently these fonction didn't work for me ?

Btw do something for ppl rq evry game it's boring if it's one disconexion ok.
But when they do this evry game punish them like lose lp or something like that. If you drop 2 times lose 500lp... Then like this ppl who leave before losing lp are going to lose much more :D

Whats wrong with the screenshot?
I think its a good/correct screenshot.

Maybe if your score was bad you would have lost more LP?
Anyways, I dont see the problem.

Ragequitters & leavers = very annoying + frequent :o

the only good solution is to increase penalty time and this is véry necessary. The number of leavers is rediculous.

Also cancelling to be a substitute should be punished less than leaving a match (less penalty time)

@Xenome: Losing LP as a penalty is véry véry bad.
1. Its no punishment for players that dont care about LP
--> They will leave & leave again.

2. It will make the ladder unbalanced. (Incorrect rankings)
--> Unbalanced matches



Other problem:

When I CRASH ( =! leaving a match) and I reconnect i get the message
"Too many players"
The server thinks I am still in the server & I cant connect.

Could NADEO please find a solution for this?
Like this : If a player connects to a server with the same maniaplanetid then auto-kick the player that already is on the server ( because he is probably a "ghost / not a real player")
I get a lot of unnecessary penalties because of this.
