Depressing like hell if you have 2-3 really good games, got echolon 9, than you just loose one game because the opponents are just rushing and you loose 900 lps which you need forever to gain them back sometimes.

The rank system should havetodo NOTHING, absolutely nothing with the Echolon level, it should be just based on the rank you have instead...

I think - points are nice and good, but they should not get sooo much, and I think with the monday system they would not even needed (at least not that much) and that you loose more LPs if you are Echolon 9 than Echolon 8 is not that good...
The Echelon & rank system in Maniaplanet is basically the same than League of Legends, you win/lose points with your matchs and once you earn enough points, you earning/loosing a rank. Being Echelon 9 on Maniaplanet is like being Rank Platinum on League of Legends, only the best players reach the rank (and in Maniaplanet, it's the Top 50 players in each title).

But what do you mean by rank should be different that the Echelon because the Echelon is the rank (you want to create a third rank system?).

Why do we get punished for just losing a match, totally ignoring how your performed? I think a while ago the LP-system enabled you to receive points even when you lost the match, if you carried your team by winning attacks and getting many rocket hits. (That does not happen anymore?) You should not lose points just because your teammates didn't perform at their best.
What would be the downsides if the lp-calculation would not take into account on if your'e in the losing team or not? Win or lose, play good -> get points, play bad -> lose points.

It does. Just yesterday I lost a match but had a good score so i got +points.
I just think it's not working 100% correctly.

So if you have screenshots of matches where you arent happy, then post them here. Thats what this thread is about.

Even if you've played great, you still have lost your match and that's normal you loose points for this. In any high-ranked matchmaking system it's like this. And in Shootmania you loose less points if you do a good performance.

This should definitly give Points.
You still lost the match, so that's normal you loose some points too and if you notice, you've lost less points than Janni and far less than Kücken while you're on the same rank.

I see. I did lose a tiny bit less points than my teammates, (scoreboard here) but it still seems a bit much. But the calculation seems to work as designed as we haven't found clear bug yet(?), people just dont agree with the design. Hits taken and hits given seem to have a bigger influence than just attack wins and the biggest factor being finishing in the winning / losing team.

Shootmania Elite is a bit different from most games with a ranking system as there are rounds where you are spectating the attacker and have zero influence in the outcome. This leads to situations where you may perform way better than ever during the game and still rank down.

For me this is the perfect example.

You played an awesome match, you're ranked lower than ur teammates and all other players. Your score is way way way better than your teammates.
Imo you should lose/win like +150//-150LP if your teammates lose >750LP.

Based on this screenshot I would say you played good and your teammates let you down.
GOOD = +LP
Your teammates played BAD = -LP

That would feel acceptable. The numbers on the screenshot don't really feel/seem fair.
