My first post in this topic was meant to agree with the concept and offer a possible explanation for why it hasn't been done yet, and to get a response stating that I sound patronizing and insulting just went completely against my intent and made me feel insulted.
i meant it would be insulting of Nadeo, not you, to not allow blocks/environments just to be cautious of them being misused, nobody is going to sabotage their own map with a feature that ruins their tracks

Apparently, disposableaccount, you are not at all concilliative, and this is very sad,
as you don't seem to acknowledge where you're wrong, and that you're nealry always blaming or insulting others.
Such a constantly hostile attitude is very unfriendly, and absolutely contrary to good social behavior.
Why do you always need to think that bad?
Sometimes you should really think more (positibve) before you write anything here.

And you still don't get it with the "features" thing. It is not your personal game, as much as you would like it.
The game designers can do whatever they want, they can implement the features they want, it is their decicion, not individual player's decision, and you have to live with this, if you're happy or not.
If they decide that the community should not disfigure their product with bad usage of e.g. blockmixing, they won't allow it. Point.
And I think exactly this will happen with TMT. It shall be a clean, neat, colorful fun game without trouble and without complications, for any player. No trouble with superposed and randomly disappearing textures, no trouble with bad block junctions, no trouble with missing blocks from unavailable title packs.
Everything that was complained about more often in the past in Maniaplanet, and where it was not possible to find reasonable improvements or good fixes, would kill TMT right from the beginning, because players (especially younger players) would be frustrated.

On the other hand, Maniaplanet will keep and allow more customization possibilities, some will be more experimental, some will be more elaborated. But it takes time to implement and to use them.

It does not look too much like that at the moment, because perhaps except the TM Plus title, I don't see too much activity on a long range recently, but some title packs are going in the right direction (e.g. the Raids from meuh21).

To summarize:
you want a rather "finished & polished" game :arrow: take TMUF, TMT
you want a more or less customizable game, with the possibility to create your own game (here: title) :arrow: take Maniaplanet

Do not blame Nadeo for all the problems they created and will still create. They now it. And they are not perfect, nobody is.

In the users community, we should try to get better consensus about new features, and less dissent.
Only if we are all working together, we can form what we want.
It is our challenge to discover and to report issues Nadeo did not find by themselvers, and to propose new things.
But all calm and precise.
And avoid anger, this only causes gastric spasm and headache. ;)

Just want to say I'd like to see CanyonCar and ValleyCar on Stadium maps again. :roll: They fit environment if map is build properly. Not a huge deal, Nando, right?
