I also noticed that the water block seems random... clearly demonstrated in track 14. Hitting the first water block in a certain way gives a chance of losing less speed than normal and gaining 1 second, but it doesn't always happen. Maybe there is a way to control it, but I haven't found it yet...
It is weird either way, because there is no visual indication that there might be a spot where hitting this water is faster.

The fastest way to cross the water feature on campaign track 15 appears to be something like this: http://lichtgrijs.com/files/015_Zooz__( ... Replay.Gbx

I only did it on the first lap. The replay was world 19th when I drove it even though I made a bunch of errors later in the track. This trick is quite hard to do, and probably impossible to do consistently... one might even say, random :mrgreen: should such elements really be included in the environments?

I have a dumb question. How do you select that recording in the game? Where it need to be saved in the PC?

Put it in My Documents/TrackManiaTurbo/Replays/Replays

and open the game, move the mouse to the top right corner, and select 'replay editor'. Then choose 'View'

Each pool have differents tricks, here is another one explained:

For the white series, it's often work to drive on the very right side of the pool. But there is some pools you always lose speed and where there isn't tricks (Or nobody find them yet ^^).

Water pool behavior always depends on speed, angle and the spot you enter the water in. At low speeds, I can recommend to aim for the very left or right sides, where the water is less steep. On tracks like #14 or #20 you can avoid getting slowdowns that way. At higher speeds you can also decide to skip water pools completely by hitting a bump or rock before it which pushes you over it. On track #15 for example, you can enter the first water pool normally, then aim for a rock on the right side and skip the second pool completely. Track #13 also allows you to skip it completely.
All in all there's no "recipe" to avoid the slowdown in every attempt, depending on above mentioned factors it might involve a certain amount of luck too.

So it seems pretty random to cross these water obstacles fast from what I see here. That's unfortunate, I prefer the tricks in an env to be mainly skill-based, especially when they are necessary to cross a single block...
