Then uninstall the video drivers, also delete all settings (there are special uninstallers available) and install a new version.

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, this is very interesting:

Put it in window to try and record a gif, but suddenly magic, window mode has no screen tearing! What the ffffffffffffhell

EDIT: Alright, in window mode fps can go as much as it wants, without VSync there is no screen tearing but guess what, we are back to the input lag.... (tried gpu/cpu inmediate sync and nothing)

Did that a while ago, and like twice or thrice. Same with unstalling game and the settings .gbx. Had another post. I think I ended up giving up and stopped playing.

ah, in window mode it is working fine? Also in "window mode full"?

You did not activate vide driver superresolution or any fancy effect which only apply in real fullscreen mode?

In worst case, some DirectX settings related to Maniaplanet are broken. Perhaps wrong refresh rate in fullscreen. Your display should be able to tell what signal it gets from the PC.

Yes, but with the input lag, which I can also get with fullscreen with VSync (But this without) (Yes, window mode full, can select resolution :D)

in rare cases, the DirectX subsystem has wrong fullscreen settings.
DirectX is the Microsoft technology used for 3D games ;)

There is an application in the older Directx SDK, Dxcpl.exe, which allows to see if there is a forced refresh.
But this would also affect TMUF and other older DirectX games as well.

You should also check if your display is recognized properly, and e.g. really running with 60Hz and not with 59Hz.

Alright. Was testing, and activated TMNF's VSync. This resulted in a little input lag. So, maybe TM's VSync works badly?

Yep, activated VSync from Nvidia's config and, with gpu/cpu inmediate sync I get little input lag. But still input lag, not much tho. Any idea on fixes for it?

I get the feeling you are trying to do the opposite of what you should be doing.
While some tearing is caused by rendering and drawing to screen being out of sync, it may be more likely your settings are too high.
TMNF should have less tearing because it has higher framerates as it is an older game with less detail, thus able to draw frames faster.
You've said you want to drop framerate not go higher but rendering frames slower than your monitor is drawing them is usually a huge cause of frame tearing. With faster framerates, the monitor ends up waiting to refresh the screen and thus no tear. Tearing is often caused when the monitor is force to show you an image that isn't done being created yet.
Therefore faster frame creating = less tearing. Lower texture quality = faster frame creation. Low poly count = faster frame creation. Skipping the anti aliasing process = faster frame creation. Lower lighting & shadow rendering = faster frame creation.
Does that Make sense?

Nope

Screen tearing isn't caused for undone frames. That's why it is called Frames Per Second. If the GPU can't make a frame, it just won't show it, therefore, fps drop. So, higher quality, lesser fps. But no, they wont show you a frame that is undone. Never.

If I drop the fps under 60, there is no screen tearing in any way.
