- the record announcer is plain ridiculous, its DEDI MANIA record, not DIDDY mania record. the countdown is childish and blocks view.
That comes from Server Controller, not Nadeo.
- Servers after being onverted to MP4 are slow
can not verify that on our Servers.
-- the search for servers has never ever been tested by Nadeo, and if it was, please get rid of the testteam.
Worked for me in the right way.

That comes indeed from a server controller developed by a very helpfull , friendly , amazing , community member.
The guy does all his work for free , and spends a lot of free time into it.
So give those guy's a bit respect !
If you can do it better , I look forward to test some of it

"I played way too much Canyon, so any change of any size for any reason is unforgiveable, regardless of whether it might be better or worse. I don't care, it's different so it sucks, period! I'm going to be incredibly unprofessional about it while accusing the developers of that same unprofessionalism." -this thread

Damn, people who think they know everything about game design just because they played 1 game for 1000s of hours.

3080 RTX, Ryzen 3700X, 32GB RAM, Windows 11

Re: Canyon feels terrible now
Seeing as half the thread just talks about "feeling" and totally random things like the Dedi pronunciation, I find it hard to believe that very many of these people have played Canyon for 10 hours.
Re: Canyon feels terrible now
Well if it's not changing then it's not changing. Which disappoints me but Lagoon seems like a lot of fun!

Press Forward maps don't seem to work anymore if you need an example (Not sure if I can post links)Miss wrote: ↑18 May 2017, 09:32Can you show an example map? I didn't see any difference here.Relay wrote: ↑18 May 2017, 04:23 I have to agree, I tried to give it a chance. "Turns are easier now!" "The steering feels tight!" but now it's just dull and boring and I have no motivation to get better at all. This is the only version of Trackmania I really play (300 hrs in Canyon with about 30 hrs in Vally and 50hrs in Stadium) and there is definitley a physics change.
It feels like the game is playing itself. Hairpin turns are PAINFULLY easy now. (All of my touge maps are ruined since hard turning is boring and you don't need to make minute corrections...)(Oh and not to mention how late breaking is pointless since you can break on a dime now.)

I don't know what everyone's problem with this is. I've put 847 hours in to Canyon and it still feels fine to me. The car feels a bit heavier, but I think that might primarily be the result of some new auditory and visual quirks, and the fact that controller rumble actually works now without third-party software. Personally, I really like the heavier feel of the cars. Now it feels a lot more like you are driving actual cars instead of just playing with toy cars like it used to. But maybe it's just me, I don't know.
Re: Canyon feels terrible now
I enjoy it to some extent, but for me it feels a bit more boring compared to the old one. Not that the new one is unplayable or anything. I just prefer old handling.iamajellydonut wrote: ↑30 May 2017, 21:59 I don't know what everyone's problem with this is. I've put 847 hours in to Canyon and it still feels fine to me.
