[TM2] Connection - Incorrect masterserver reply

Hi,

I'm trying to install TM2 for lunchbreaks at work but it looks like the connection is blocked in Maniaplanet. What access do I need to get a connection to the masterserver? Right now I get 'Incorrect masterserver reply' when trying to login or to sign up.
I can ping ping init.maniaplanet.com, login.maniaplanet.com, ping mp02.maniaplanet.com and ping ws.maniaplanet.com.
I probably don't have access to the ports 2350 and 3450 tcp/udp. Are those required? FAQ says those are to connect to dedicated servers (which I do not want to connect to).

The masterservers use port 80 for its regular requests and 443 for authentication.

Thanks Miss. I asked IT about those ports and they told me, there are no blocked connections going out of my pc. Must be something else. They said something about some decrypt going on, that could cause Problems?
Is there any other way to download the game files? I just want to play it locally with workmates. When I start maniaplanet in offlinemode, I get an empty screen.

It's possible that your company is injecting code into the unsecured port 80 connections, which would cause it to have issues connecting, but I dunno if they're doing that. You can always try offline mode though, but that means you'd have to download the packs first (and probably have a profile already? Not entirely sure..)

From home, you could log in and install the game you want to play from Maniaplanet. Then, using some USB hard drive or such, you can copy the files you need to your work PC and start offline mode. If you want, I can tell you which paths would be the most interesting to you when I get back from work, in case you can't figure it out

That sounds promising. I can probably ask IT if I am allowed to plug in a USB stick once to get the game files. If you can tell me which paths I should include, that would be great. I would probably find them myself but I don't want to miss any of them.

Try downloading the full setup from this link. It's a 5.1 GB file containing all 5 environments (Canyon, Storm, Stadium, Valley and Lagoon).

Just to ask upfront: Is there a download for version 3 too? As far as I've heard 4 still has no support for splitscreen?

Looks like it does not work
Ran the setup -> started maniaplanet -> Login -> Connection Error -> Offline -> It starts into an empty maniaplanet. I can see clouds and the bar at the top of the screen but no games.

yeah, there is the "frozen" setup for MP version 3, it won't update the core anymore:

Do you have any idea how to actually get the games displayed in maniaplanet? Something like installing it on my laptop, logging in there to confirm I own the games and then copy some files to the office pc to access the games in offline mode?
