I watched it and according to my French speaking skills he doesn't say anything that we all don't know. They are commenting on what he builds, on the TrackMania series and Maniaplanet and stuff *sniff*

after watching that 2nd movie i can only say i hope there will also be a sm-unlimiter as the size of the current map is insanely small.

Eh.. just take a look at the surrounding area once the 2 small bases and the path in between has finished..


It's waaaay to small to build an actual team vs team map that needs some kind of strategy. With this amount of space you got a max of 2 chokepoints (if you build a proper map instead of a simple paintball range). which is gonna get boring pretty soon.
I wanna build like i did in cs. blend the actionpath with the surroundings and make it feel natural instead of a concrete box of chaos.

as already stated - by Hylis himself - this is only a demonstration of the editor, of how easy maps can be created.
You certainly can expect complete map size to be same as Canyon (32x32 blocks).

i love how he builds the shorter cliffs into the taller ones. i would love that feature in canyon.

This feature already exists, it is just automatical terraforming, just with other blocks
