[TM2][OTHER] ManiaPlanetLauncher.exe error

I purchased the game last night online. Downloaded and installed ok, but when I click on the maniaplanetlauncher.exe
program I get an application error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002).

Anybody have a solution for this problem?
