Using the same one without tweaking stuff and never experienced a problembel1be wrote: i drive with a joystick from THRUSTMASTER the T.16000M
Without the trustmaster joystick setup TARGET program it's also impossible to drive TM2
Its for the moment only made for keyboard and Game pad users
A big Shame

Re: Wheel's advantage over gamepad?
I have been using a Saitek CyborgX joystick for 3 years on TMUF and now on MP Canyon with no tweaking programs. I only adjust the sensitivity and deadzone ingame to suit me. I use the joystick trigger for acceleration and the left "shift" on the keyboard for braking. I am now able to manuever the narrow roads with some skill and will soon have the control I experienced in United. I admit that I hated having to quit keyboarding but it was either that or quit racing due to arthritis in my fingers. I now have smoother control and more fun than ever.

Re: Wheel's advantage over gamepad?
For the joystick users
I use my target program to set 0 point band wide Max - min X y course , much more easy with the graphical display of the settings .
Fire button is the speed here , and space on the keyboard for breaks
And use already long time joystick on Tmu , works also well for my
And on Tm2 no problems , only the time to turns the wheels its slower than the game pad users and keyboard
But smooth precise driving work well with joystick
It all depends what maps you drive
How smaller the roads are how more i like it
