If you use the full setup and your existing maniaplanet account then all official titles will be available like at home.
But any other custom title needs to be downloaded or copied manually into the titles folder.
In Maniaplanet you can easily add the titles to tiles then by choosing "from disk".

Well, the original problem was, that I can‘t get a connection to the master server when trying to login or to sign up. Therefore I can‘t just simply use my planetmania account.

To have your profile on another computer, just copy the profile from the Config folder from your laptop's ManiaPlanet User directory (by default inside your Documents library) to your desktop, in the same location.
You can try using a different network (for example mobile connection) to log in on your desktop, if it still doesn't work.

Okay thanks, I will give that a try. Using the mobile network is not an option sadly, the PCs are all connected via lan and have no wifi adapter.
Re: [TM2] Connection - Incorrect masterserver reply
Okay, so I installed TM² Canyons (via Steam) yesterday (the full installer took too long at home to download). I started maniaplanet, created a profile and clicked on Canyons in Maniaplanet. Had to download an update and then I was able to play at home. So I zipped the Maniaplanet folder in my documents and send it to my work pc (via email). Unzipped the files this morning and I was able to select my profile in maniaplanet. When it started, I was seeing TM² Canyons available in Maniaplanet and thought it finally worked. But when I click on Canyon it says 'Could not install or update the title's files'
Any idea left what I could do? Almost there...
I have no idea what causes the 'Could not install or update the title's files'. Maniaplanet never had internet connection (because it is blocked by the company) so it should not know there is a update available? Or is there a version number saved in the profile data?
Would it be possible to just copy the updated files? I can send a few mb per mails, just not the whole game files.
Don't want to give up on TM²

There is indeed a file that keeps track of the updates.
This means you need to have an exact copy of the game files also at work.
And this means not only the Maniaplanet folder in your documents, but also the core game files in the setup folder, and also in the Program Data subdirectory.

So if I install the full setup at home and login once but not click on any of the games (so it does not get updated), it should be fine to copy the user profile to the office pc and access the game (canyon for example) offline?
Or does it realise that there is an update available as soon as I log in?

Re: [TM2] Connection - Incorrect masterserver reply
Yes, but I don't know if it will not try to update and fail then.
Re: [TM2] Connection - Incorrect masterserver reply
Okay I will give it a try at home. If I log in there and restart in offline mode, I should be able to see if it's possible at all.
Another idea: The frozen install of maniaplanet 3 means also the game files there are not updated anymore, right? Isn't it possible then to use that one and not needing any updates?
By the way: I'm really surprised and thankful for all the help! Haven't seen a game with this good support in a long while!

Re: [TM2] Connection - Incorrect masterserver reply
The thing with the MP3 version is that it does not update. But it also won't work with titles that have been updated for MP4.
Therefore, if you use MP3, only use the original titles (Canyon, Stadium, Valley and Lagoon), and only titles that were made for MP until version 3.
