Fix the download speed of 1 kbps.

We play MP3 Stadium and Canyon on an XP system. It's been working well for a long time but I'm afraid to connect it to the internet now for fear of breaking it with an MP4 update. What will happen if I connect to the servers with an XP machine?

2min later found hidden popup
update started
clicks station Elite and update starts
clicks station again, new update starts
join Elite for the first time
gets message "joining the match you left"
connects to an elite match
gets disconnected and "Royal Fun map" loads
gets disconnected and the same Elite match loads again

( loop )

Exits game
Restarts game
clicks Elite station
joins matchmaking again
presses F6 to quickly cancel this loop
gets suspended for 30seconds
gets a new match
sees Royal Fun loading screen again, but gets loaded in an Elite match.
Scores tell me it's 2-9 while a new match is loading
Balance is nowhere to be found as I'm playing vs echelon 0 player
A player with 'no rank' is attacking first
We're playing a 2012 map
I attack, and halfway my attack the round just stops, for no reason.
The echelon 0 players attacks and the match gets interupted. We play Royal now.

remove Maniaplanet/config/default.systemconfig.gbx from your documents folder and restart the game

Did you buy any game? Do you have a free account? Afaik free accounts have no access to planets and can only play channels

Late last night the game started to work perfect. came home from work and saw that steam had update my PAID FOR GAMES! again, my heart sank and when i started maniaplanet and loaded a map graphics all messed up again, I deleted the default system config and restarted the game and still the same.
So no its not the free game i have 2 paid for accounts for all my trackmania games on steam and still cant use planets ingame for skins n stuff

UPDATE
Ok so i backed up my profiles and deleted them. restarted maniaplanet and now all seems back to normal ish, a bug where i cannot see my speed ( i can live with that )
BUT and a big BUT for me is i still cant use my validation code ingame, just generated a new one and it still says it wrong?

I have given an error downloading maniaplanet 4, I canceled the download and since then I can not open the game, can someone help me? Or have I lost the game forever? I need help, thanks

If you connect you're MP3 to internet, it will ask for the MP4 update which is not compatible with XP.
Then you can not connect to internet from a MP3+XP currently.
We're working to solve that.

just a few urgents for now
3) why there is no laptop resolution "1366x768" (only 1280x720)

In game, resolutions are filtered by "Aspect ratio",
as 1366x768 is not 4:3, 16:10 nor 16:9,
you must select "Aspect ratio"="None" to see it (check in all pages).
