Thanks for the quick answer!

Okay, but it would be great if you could add it later to the game, because we can do thousand of new animations/videos with that awesome look, what mp doesn't have!

I agree that TrackMania Turbo should stay as it is right now and let Nadeo focus on Maniaplanet 4.0 :D
tm turbo on pc won't even count after that

Hey, come on! TMT is not some kind of freeware preview for MP4! It's full product and do not say "stay as it is" if there are still few things to do that people want.

Wanting more things is often the case. The question is at the expense of what.

TMT is a product on it's own that have many strengths that we made with ton of energy from the devs. It would be better if we can improve TMT even more. Still, I think it will stay for years as a great game and some players among the already 1 million + people that played it will probably be around in the years to come to provide powerful energy to other players.

Meanwhile, there is something that I think the team can bring more to the planet, something that is more related to creation, sharing, communities & competition. And it requires a platform, and I think Maniaplanet could be a great one. I know Nadeo is best designed for this and I just want the upcoming years to exist to let the incredibly talented team to prove it, for them, for me, for Ubisoft and for you.

I am pretty confident that almost everything you want will be available in MP4. :P TM Turbo wasn't even supposed to be released on PC in the first place.

Also, there are several posts in the past (my apologies, but I don't have time to look them up right now) that Nadeo has stated that TMT was to be a finished product (not infinitely expanded like ManiaPlanet) and that it would be a channel for getting console players introduced into the world of TrackMania and lure them into ManiaPlanet. So, actually, in a sense, it is a pay-for preview for ManiaPlanet, not a freeware.

But seriously, it's a fun game, and different enough from ManiaPlanet to still make it fun and viable (on any platform). But I'm excited to have the crew back on ManiaPlanet and anticipate getting the Rollercoaster environment there. I pay for licenses for all my kids as well as myself, which gets really expensive even for a $20 USD title... thus I could only afford 1 copy of TMT so I can save up for purchasing 6 licenses of Rollercoaster in ManiaPlanet.

Thanks for all your hard work Nadeo; I know we don't always agree with your direction, but you always create fun products and I'm excited to see what comes next. GG :thx:

I do not write about expanding TMT and making this game something more. I'm just talking about fixing and made this game usable and more friendly. 90% of ideas was good, it's arcade game that will not be evolved, that is what everyone know. But I don't think that adding tracknames (as option), "default cam" settings (like I said before), fixing connection problems, adding some 1 or 2 filters in multiplayer or adding room names that are things that change this game. For example - track names may help made better rooms, room names may help choose right one to play etc. I don't think that Nadeo wants to made preview of game. It's full priced product and it's first version (second if we count that controller small fix). So I don't think adding some small fixes or small improvements change this game and made something completely different. It may helps with better gameplay and helps to keep players active in this game. I have to admit that after first positive feeling, now i like this game less and less. Not because physics, graphics, sounds or menu, but because some annoying things. Empty servers (result of bad idea from the beginning and the lack of any selection), the same Nadeo maps everywhere (or one-map servers, which is even worse) makes gameplay boring. OK, I understand that someone from Nadeo may say "we decided to made only numbers, not tracknames" but after first month and so many comments, this concept has proven to be not so good. So there are 2 options - leave everything as is and never admit that "we made some bad decissions" or improve this game a little. It's not a shame. I bet that everyone will love this game even more (and Nadeo programmers too). :)
