What is PursuitPRO?
PursuitPRO is 5vs5 teams competitive variation of the regular Pursuit mode, where players can interact with other cars. Teams receive tasks: be the Police or Thieves. Mode supports matchmaking.
At the beginning of the match one of the teams join the Police forces and other start to escape as Thieves. Thieves receive 10 seconds to drive away from spawn, then Police appears. Police has to catch all the Thieves to win the round and Thieves can win only when time reach the limit. To catch a Thief, just drive through him. Caught Thief is forced to spectate match. Also, when someone is caught time limit shortens to give Thieves team advantage.
While the Police can respawn without limits, Thieves have to wait 15 seconds standing still. The match is over when one of the teams win 3 rounds.
PRO tips:
- Blinking lights at bottom of the screen represent that you're in the Police team. Icons near scores also display tasks of the teams.
- Turn other cars visible! (Press O to change visibility.)
- Turn the names on to realise in which team other players are. (Press ~ to change visibility.)
- Make sure you turned on Show all opponents option in ManiaPlanet launcher.
- Bind Freelook (rear camera view) to any key to to see opponents from behind you.
- You can quickly remind the basic rules in Pause > Help menu.

Build a map
To build a map, just follow these instructions:
- Just build open complicated track with hidden or hard to find finish.
- Use multilap start instead open track start, if you want. Players wont respawn when they finish a lap.
- Border your map with something tall (eg. mountains) to prevent players going outside.
- Fill or avoid areas, where players can glitch under block or out of map.
- Don't place turbos in two way roads - players won't slow down when driving from opposite direction.
- Don't make hard to reach spots. Better create many easy ones and wide spaces between them.
- 64x64 Stadium base is way too big. Trust me.
- Use OffZonePlacing editor plugin to select special areas on your maps that respawn players driving into them to avoid going outside.
