Hi everybody!
Today i decided to make a video with a friend of mine on a really populated server with a particular game mode (no spam, i'm sure you'll know what server i am talking about), that i will upload on YouTube. I recorded the screen, but i thought "hey, using media tracker would be pretty cool!" so when the round end ed i clicked on both "save replay" and "save previous replay" to be sure. After that i checked the replays: both of them had a ton of ghosts, but the ghosts timeline stopped in different times (e.g. mine at 1min from start, another one at 10 secs etc.). I tried to extend them, but all i got was a still ghost, frozen since when the not modified timeline ended. Could you help me, please?
P.s. sorry if this is the wrong section, i am new on the forum and this seemed the right section to me...
Mediatracker: too many ghosts?

The ghost timeline is the time it took that particular players run from start to finish. If a player doesn't do anything or resets/restarts right away the replay ghost will reflect that.
I'd suggest just deleting the ones that are shorter than you want to use in your overall edited replay.
Also, stretching the length of the timeline changes the speed of its playback.
Changing the length of a ghost to longer will play that ghost to the end of its recorded replay then show the car frozen until it reaches the end the stretched time. Making it shorter will just cut the replay off before it reaches its recorded end.

Thanks for your answer, but the problem is that in that server the objective is different, not just "reach the finish line"... so the ghosts just randomly stop in random parts for the map, since nobody reaches the finish line...Demented wrote:The ghost timeline is the time it took that particular players run from start to finish. So... in this game mode you are restarting often? Restarting also ends recording of a replay.

Yes, you restart really often. I didnt know that it ends recording, it didnt happen with TMUF. Thank you.Demented wrote:So... in this game mode you are restarting often? Restarting also ends recording of a replay.

Similar behaviour is present in Pursuit mode (maybe you mentioned this mode). Replay starts with map begin and end when game is over. Ghosts in these replays start in new track every time player is respawned. It's custom behaviour set with various functions through mode script.
Hope it will help.
