How do you set a different car for a Stadium track?

How do you set a different car for a Stadium track?

In the TM2 title pack, I can choose any of the three cars for Valley and Canyon while pressing CTRL when creating a new track. Why doesn't it work for Stadium?

you can't anymore :thumbsup:
mixing with stadium was disabled for unknown reasons :1010
