How to turn off opponents in multiplayer ps4?

Excuse me but I find this stupid to say it's because if it was allowed everybody would disable cars...........
If you want to play with cars on to feel like it's a real race (in Time Attack, lol?) then just let them, but if you don't want to because you want to see the track this must be possible. You don't want players to be competitive ? What ? In a racing game let's not be competitive ok ok. This is a bad thing because it doesn't leave the CHOICE for players, everybody is FORCED to see the other cars... Maybe if this was just in rounds mode or something like that maybe but do you really feel like it's a race for example in TA ? Where I remind you that the goal is to do the best time, so yes, even if you have your competitive spirit down to 0, you still want to win.

Forget the competitive aspect. TMT is the real arcade version of Trackmania
You want more serious competition? Use Maniaplanet instead

I guess on console version there are not enough buttons left, where on PC version it could more easily be done?

I'm not sure, but on console gamepads I believe most of the d-pad directions are still without functions. While pressing up on the d-pad toggles car names on/off, the other three directions could be used to turn on/off cars for example? ;o

Left and right are also for steering, down is mirror.

No matter if competitive game, arcade racer or whatever, there should definitely be the possibility to choose to have cars on/off. Would be a shame if not imo...

Yes pascow that's not a question of arcade thing or not, but more than that. And some needs to stop saying "just play maniaplanet then" because it seriously annoys me to hear that...

It could be option in settings, no on button it will be great with this function
