Good that you ask it since I take the opportunity to answer right now to prevent disappointment from some people later that would engage in the competition too much for the money.

Our primary goal is to see players who like to play on Trackmania & Shootmania to have some events like Gamers Assembly, this or the more recent ZeratoR cup, with similar prices: it was 2200€ euros at the GA for TM or 2000€ at ZeratoR Cup #4.

I already had the opportunity to discuss with Shootmania players about this topic. They were having concern about us doing again a big event for communication and we both agreed that making it just for people who like to compete on the games was a better goal to focus for the moment.

We have future major steps in our esport strategy and while this event is a way to offer players that wish to compete some events, it's also a way for us to explore some more lighter formats that could potentially open ways to expand later with either more regular ones or more geographically spread events, would we see a positive traction on the games driven by our upcoming updates & releases and/or other people contributions.

Around 2000€ so this competition will be interesting for people who are just seeking some challe'ge but that's all (if I correctly understood).
Next question : you take the exemple of the ga and of the zrt cup.
For the WC, the finals will be on lan and if it is, where ?
That's one of the important question actually.

You understand right and since many aspects has still to be defined according various people we will be more precise later once everything becomes more and more set.

So far, I expect a nice stage in Paris for the final matches and I would like hotel to be taken care of by the world cup. The date is going to be somewhere between end of October and beginning of November. For the bracket to the final, they would be online if I fail at finding another way. It's still really early to say. However, I don’t expect a Byoc. Prices could be 3k€ for TM and 3k€ for SM to say what I would like.

Many things can change at the moment and I will probably be able to be precise only in September since August has a lot of people out of the offices (including me for most of it)

Considering that the Elite playerbase basically consists of ~50-100 active players, it's pretty damn good in my opinion.

If Nadeo is going to run the cup with current player base, prize is ok.

But if Nadeo sets higher prize, the player base would increase.

It would just more likely bring back some teams that are not likely to stay after anyway, as it has been discussed with some players. Like I already said, our primary goal is to see players who like to play on Trackmania & Shootmania to have some events while we prepare the future.
