My Yearly Check On All Things TrackMania

Once a year I stumble upon my Trackmania ManiaPlanet (or is it called Trackmania 2?) installation on my hard drive. Then I remember the good old days of a big and unified Trackmania ... and then reality hits me ... so I come back to the forums to check on the current state of all things Trackmania because I still love the games and want them to have a bright future. Perhaps you can help me get up to date:

- Have Canyon, Valley, or Stadium received any new (official) blocks in 2015 or 2016?

- Have Canyon, Valley, or Stadium had any importand updates in 2015 or 2016?

- Is it possible to race multiple environments on one server?

- Has custom object creation been made easier (e.g. by an official documentation) and has the custom object scene grown - or is it still only that one thread in this subforum?

- Is there a release date for the Lagoon environment?

- And finally, in the 2015 Nadeo blog entry Florent said: "We intend to make a commercial move for players who wish all TM envs in Maniaplanet". Has anything like that been reaffirmed in 2016?

The Nadeo Importer is actually quite easy to use, but documentation was never Nadeo's particular strength. They will prefer to develop a complex 3D editor, rather than writing a precise documentation...
It's really not difficult to get a low poly 3D model from e.g. TurboSquid and import it to ManiaPlanet.

Lagoon has been released with Trackmania Turbo.

I think Trackmania Turbo was that commercial move.

Some new features of Trackmania Turbo will be taken in ManiaPlanet 4. In a year, when you come back, we hopefully can report more accurate about MP4.

All I heard was Trackmania Turbo

It is a bit sad that first you pay 70 bucks (20 + 20 + 20 + 10) for the 4 environments in TM2 and now in order to use all the updates they expect you to pay another 40 and re-buy all of them again. I understand that there are more features and a new environment in TM Turbo but still I can't help and feel a little bit let down.

Actually Forent's quote from 2015 reads: "We intend to make a commercial move for players who wish all TM envs in Maniaplanet & the TM Turbo game." - so TM Turbo can't be the commercial move. To me it sounds like they had plans to upgrade all the previous environments and merge them into ManiaPlanet (which would be fantastic). Well - as you say ... let's see what happens over the next 12 months ...

Dunno, but TMAll title packs and built-in environment mixing is here since march 2014.

Do you have any links for these topics? I can't find any "TMAll Title Packs" on Google and I can't find any built-in environment mixing in TM2?
