Can't launch store addons in ManiaPlanet [solved]

Hi,

I saw great addons in the ManiaPlanet store that i wanted to try, one of them was Trackmania United
that i can play on ManiaPlanet so i wanted to try it.

btw, this happens only on the addons with multiple environments, when i launch TM Stadium, the addons with the stadium environment will work

I downloaded the addon Trackmania United wich includes multiple environment, when it's installed and tried to launch it, a message pops up with the following notification, "ManiaPlanet needs to be restarted to load this title" so i click ok.
When ManiaPlanet was closed, TrackMania Valley automatically started with updating, so when the updating was done, i launched TrackMania Valley, but still couldn't launch the addon that i wanted.
The process keeps repeating without any progress.

when i play Trackmania Stadium i can launch the addons with single environment.
when tried to launch addons with multiple environment it doesn't launch.

It's not a big deal, but wanted to get the word out and see if someone knows the solution.

btw, i hope you can understand what i wrote, because i'm from Belgium.

Are you running Trackmania from Steam? If so, that stuff is broken like that as far as I know.. but it works from Stadium?

Using Steam does not broke all the title packs,

personnally, using TM² Stadium with Steam I was able to play the TM ESWC title pack and other Stadium packs

yup, i'm running trackmania on steam.
didn't try the standalone version.

I'm going to try the standalone version, and let you know if it works.

Here is the weird part,
when i launch the standalone version of maniaplanet, in the folder "ManiaPlanet_TMStadium" it automatically starts Shootmania Storm demo for installing.

so, thats why i run it on steam because i couldn't launch the standalone version of trackmania.

So I guess other title packs works on Stadium but not on Canyon and Valley.. huh.. I didn't know that.

Multi-environments title packs doesn't work well on the Steam version because the TM² title doesn't work on it. In that case you must use the Maniaplanet standalone version to be able to use correctly the TMU title pack

Only the title packs with single environment works.
When i play Trackmania Stadium, i can launch and play the title packs with single environment.
but i can't launch title packs with mutliple environments, like Stadium, Valley, and Canyon in one title pack.
It keeps asking for an update or for a restart.
i'm going to download ManiaPlanet and see if it works that way.

Hi,

After downloading ManiaPlanet and updating it with a 2.5GB data pack for all the 3 environments, it works great.
I can launch every title pack that i have without even restarting it.
Thanks to Cerovan's post/advice, i can enjoy the great title packs currently on the store.

When we were testing ManiaPlanet 3.0, we could ask for weird SteamApp called "TrackMania 2", that had all 3 environments packages in it. I still have it in my library but I'm not sure if it's supported and working today.
(And probably noone will be ever able to get this app again.)
