So, everywhere I see various "m" character case in all -Mania names:
TrackMania / Trackmania
ShootMania / Shootmania
QuestMania / Questmania
ManiaPlanet / Maniaplanet

Forums say lower case.
Steam says upper case for TMNF, all TM2 and SM.
Steam says lower case for TMUF and TM Turbo.
Wikipedia uses upper case in every name.
Nadeo website has lower case.
TM Forever site has upper case.
TM Turbo site has lower case.
ManiaPlanet site has both mixed.
TMO website is upper case.
TMS website is lower case.

So, is it finally is it Mania, or mania? XD

I worst case, they had to register trademarks for every possible writing

The rule is simple:
Logo: maniaplanet
normal text: Maniaplanet

Same for Trackmania, Shootmania, Questmania.

Ok, on the blog, they did it also different: http://blog.maniaplanet.com/
But probably only to emphasize the individual names.

Regarding the community-based *manias, it is the respective owner's freedom.

But aren't there more important things to take care of?

My TrackMania PowerUp user manual says "TrackMania" everywhere. So I gonna keep it like that. x)

Assuming that capital "M" has appeared at least once in game name, and in various places it's written as a capital letter too, it must be the correct writing then (because if it wouldn't appear before, we would write Trackmania and didn't even know about capital "M" writing variant). Same rule to every other -Mania name.

Actually we prefer using mania instead of Mania since a while and that's why you can find both writings ^^
