Re: Driving with two wheels on the dirt gives more speed?
By skirting the edge of the track in a turn, they are taking a quicker line. It's why Formula 1 drivers drive on the inside borders rather than staying completely on the tarmac. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/bb/Racing_line_s.png/220px-Racing_line_s.png The green line is the geomet...

[Suggestion] Allow Rocket Jumping
We already know that rocket jumping isn't realistic. If you're caught in the blast zone, you die. End of story. However, we also know that Shootmania isn't going to be realistic. I admit that rocket jumping, at least in TF2, has become second nature to me and I habitually try to do it in other FPS g...

Re: Destroy the map ?
How about "/admin erasethis followed by /admin skip ? As in my opinion that's a serious case of bad mapping ^^ I do get what you're saying, but i think (as all 3 titles will use the same .exe aka share the same engine) they would've added some sort of destructable scenery in tm2 already if it ...

Re: [Shootmania] Gamemodes
My idea? Attack/Defend CTF. The map would require two team based control points that, when captured, allow the team that captured the control point three minutes to attempt to capture the flag/intel briefcase/thermonuclear device/whatever-it-is before the point resets. I state three minutes because ...

Re: I miss the TMU simulation of the race start
I think I know what's actually being requested: weight transfer on acceleration and breaking. It was one of the few graphics features of TMUF and TMNF that was actually superior to TM2. It's not really necessary, but it adds a touch of realism that even Mario Kart's latest titles have to a degree. I...

Re: Trackmania Steering bad RED ALERT!!!!!!!!
I read on a few other threads that the steering in Canyon is more realistic. However, I have to say that if it was, the cars would have a smaller turning radius and would start to drift at high speeds without the use of brakes. I race several different classes of RC cars including a 1/5th scale 2wd ...

Re: Next Enviroment?
Well, since we already know what environment #2 will be, it might be a good idea to start thinking about environment #3. My idea is an environment called Appalachia, an area I'm all too familiar with: Three basic road types: gravel (for National Forest service roads) with blocks allowing for free-fo...

Re: Which internet browser do you use?
I technically use every single one (I have Lunascape 6 [which can run all three browser engines] as well as Firefox 3 [I never upgraded from the legacy version of Firefox since 4.0 was garbage]), but since I can only choose two I just clicked Firefox.

Inb4 microscopic cube. Same, except in addition to microscopic cubes I'm inb4 the guaranteed millions of Master Chiefs, Chells, Heavy Weapons Guys, Gordon Freemans, and whoever else is popular. I guarantee that even both Sephiroth and Captain Falcon will show up at least a few times. Anyway, on the...
